- 1 large egg
- ¾ cup water, divided
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 container (12 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 chocolate bar (1.5 oz) for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the brownies by mixing the brownie mix, egg, ¼ cup water, and oil. Bake for 25-30 minutes and let cool before cutting into 1-inch squares.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix, sweetened condensed milk, and ½ cup water until thick. Fold in 8 oz of whipped topping.
- In a trifle dish, layer half the brownies, half the pudding mixture, and half of the whipped topping. Repeat to create a second layer.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings and chill for at least 8 hours before serving.
