Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, food coloring, and vanilla.
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
