Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 tbsp sugar (topping)
  • 2 tbsp butter (topping)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
  • Sift together dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt).
  • In a separate bowl, mix eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Combine with dry ingredients until smooth.
  • Pour batter into the pan.
  • Prepare topping by mixing sugar, butter, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the batter.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.
