Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup of sugar
    • 1/2 cup butter softened
    • 1 egg
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt

To top it off:

    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    • 2 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 1 cup of cold butter cubed

Instructions

  1. Bake at 350°F. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.

  2. Mix sugar and butter. Add vanilla, egg, and sour cream.

  3. Mix the dry ingredients, then mix with the wet ingredients.

  4. The crumb topping is made by combining brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, as well as butter.

  5. Place batter in the pan, sprinkle topping with crumb.

  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
