  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions

Prepare the Venison Patties 🦌

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground venisoneggbreadcrumbsWorcestershire saucegarlic powderonion powdersalt, and pepper.

  2. Mix all the ingredients together, but be careful not to overmix to keep the meat tender.

  3. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties. Make a small indent in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

Cook the Patties 🔥

  1. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and add olive oil.

  2. Once the skillet or grill is hot, add the venison patties. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for a juicy but well-cooked burger.

  3. If using cheese, place smoked gouda slices on top of each patty in the final minute of cooking to allow the cheese to melt.

Assemble the Burgers 🍔

  1. Toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet until golden.

  2. On the bottom half of each bun, place a leaf of butter lettuce, followed by a tomato slice.

  3. Place the venison patty on top, followed by red onion slices.

  4. Spread burger sauce on the top half of the bun, then place it over the patty.

Serve and Enjoy! 🥳

  1. Serve your venison burgers immediately alongside your favorite sides like sweet potato friescoleslaw, or a refreshing cucumber salad.
