- 1 (3 oz) package strawberry-flavored gelatin mix
- ¼ cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
- 24–30 chocolate kiss candies, unwrapped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
- Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
- Add the strawberry gelatin powder and mix until evenly pink.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture to form a soft dough.
- Roll dough into balls and place them on the baking sheet. Create an indentation in the center of each ball using your thumb or a spoon.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Press a chocolate kiss into each cookie while warm.
- Cool completely and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- If the dough is sticky, chill it for 20-30 minutes before rolling.
- To store, keep cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
