Description
A delicious blend of creamy and spicy flavors made with roasted beef, pepperjack cheese, jalapenos, and Arugula. All tucked in between toasty sourdough pieces.
Ingredients
- Sourdough Bread 4 slices
- Thinly Sliced Roast Beef – 6-8 oz
- Pepper Jack Cheese – 4 slices
- Pickled Jalapenos – 2 tablespoons
- Caramelized Onions – 1 onion small, cut and caramelized
- Dijon Mustard – 2 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise – 2 tablespoons
- Butter 2 tablespoons softened
- Fresh Arugula – 1 cup

make up the bread Make butter spread on the one side of each slice of Sourdough. This will ensure a crispy and golden surface.

Assemble On the non-buttered edge of two slices put Dijon mayonnaise and mustard. Add roast beef, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos pickled, caramelized onions, and finally, a bunch of arugula fresh.

Closing the Sandwich Put the two remaining slices of bread over the other, with the buttered side facing up.

Grill Grill the panini press or skillet at medium-low flame. Grill the sandwiches for around 4-5 minutes on both sides and until the bread has turned crispy and the cheese has melted.

Notes
If you want to add more spice, try adding some hot sauce in addition to jalapenos.
You can substitute spinach for arugula If you like a milder flavor.
A panini press is a great way to create an even crispy consistency.
