This AeroPress recipe makes a well-balanced and delicious coffee that can be made in only two minutes. If you’re looking for an espresso with a punch or a soft, silky coffee, this technique lets you experiment the size of your grind, the brewing process, and temperature in order to produce a drink that you’ll enjoy.
Ingredients
- coffee: 15-18g (2-3 tablespoons) of freshly ground coffee beans
- water: 200g (7 oz) of hot water (85degC to 90degC or 185degF to 195degF)
- Additional: Sugar, milk or even cream for serving

Inject Coffee Grounds Set the AeroPress to the upside position Add the grounds of coffee to the chamber.

Heating water: Bring water to approximately 85-90 degrees Celsius (185-195degF). If you don’t own a thermometer, allow the boiled water stand for 30 seconds before reaching the proper temperature.

Pour and Stir Slowly pour hot water on the grounds of coffee in a circular motion after which you stir it gently for approximately 10 seconds.

Stir and Press The coffee should sit for 2 to 3 hours (adjust for taste), and then gently press until the water has been pushed through.

Serve Take your coffee in its natural state or dilute it by adding warm liquid for an Americano AeroPress recipe. Add sugar or milk, if desired.
