Ingredients
  

Elbow Macaroni

  • 1 cup elbow macaroni

Cheese

  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Coating

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 0.5 cup whole milk

Instructions
 

  • Cook macaroni: Boil water in a large pot, add elbow macaroni, and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Mix cheese filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cooked macaroni with cheddar cheese, milk, and eggs until well blended.
  • Preheat oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Form bites: Shape the macaroni mixture into small balls and coat each ball in panko breadcrumbs.
  • Bake: Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve: Let cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For an extra crispy coating, you can chill the formed bites in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before baking.
