Instructions

  • Sauté onions, carrots, and garlic until softened.
  • Stir in flour and tomato paste, cooking briefly.
  • Add beef broth, thyme, bay leaf, and seared beef.
  • Simmer covered on low heat for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve hot with mashed potatoes, noodles, or bread.
