Instructions

- Stir in flour and tomato paste, cooking briefly.
- Add beef broth, thyme, bay leaf, and seared beef.
- Simmer covered on low heat for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes, noodles, or bread.
