Preheat the oven to 400°F. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no pink is left. Drain the excess fat and mix in the taco seasoning.
Layer the dip: Spread the softened cream cheese on the bottom of a pie dish, pour the salsa over the cream cheese, spoon the meat over the salsa, and sprinkle the shredded cheddar over the meat.
Cover the dip with foil and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
