Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  • Melt butter, cool slightly, then whisk in sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, whisking well, then mix in vanilla.
  • Combine dry ingredients with wet mixture, then fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Drop tablespoons of batter onto the baking sheet, bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

For a chewier texture, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
