Instructions
Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the milk, salt, and pepper, then whisk until fully combined.
Heat a medium non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter, letting it melt and coat the pan evenly.
Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook undisturbed for about 3-4 minutes until the edges start to set.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top of the omelette and let it melt slightly.
Use a spatula to gently fold the omelette in half and cook for an additional 2 minutes until fully set and the cheese is melted.
Notes
For an extra burst of flavor, add any leftover cheese or diced ham to the omelette along with the shredded cheese.
