Ingredients
  

Butter and Seasonings

  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 cloves garlic minced

Bread

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix softened butter and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  • Slice French bread in half lengthwise and spread garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut side.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly, then slice and serve.

Notes

For an extra crispy crust, bake for an additional 2-3 minutes.
