Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 1 package refrigerated tortellini 9 oz
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes 15 oz
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh basil

Instructions
 

  • Cook tortellini according to package; drain and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic in olive oil until fragrant. Add crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning; simmer 5 mins.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan; add tortellini and coat. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Use fresh basil for the best flavor and adjust seasoning to taste.
