Crispy Parmesan Chicken with a Rich Garlic Sauce

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 4 chicken breasts small to medium, or 2 large halved
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • 3–4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning or oregano
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup spinach chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • Lower heat and add minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for 30 seconds.
  • Pour in cream, stirring continuously.
  • Add Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth.
  • Stir in chopped spinach (if using) and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the pan, spooning sauce over the top. Simmer for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  • Serve hot with pasta, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

For extra crispiness, coat chicken in a mix of parmesan and panko breadcrumbs. For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Use fresh parmesan for the best flavor and texture!
