Delicious Peach Pie

A sweet and tangy peach pie with a flaky crust, perfect for warm weather.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Packages Pie Crust
  • 4 cans Sliced Peaches (15 oz each, drained)
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 3 Tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Roll out one pie crust, place in pie dish, trim excess, and preheat oven to 375-400°F (190-200°C).
  • Drain peaches, mix with sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Let sit 15 minutes.
  • Pour filling into crust, top with melted butter, cover with second crust, seal edges, and cut slits.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45-50 minutes, until golden and bubbling. Cover edges if browning too quickly.
  • Cool on wire rack for 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Let pie cool completely before serving for clean slices.
