Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
Combine melted butter and sugar in a large bowl, mixing until smooth.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until just combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then lift out and cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
