Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup salted butter gets melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or dark
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar lightly packed
  • ½ cup Dutch-process cocoa powder spooned and leveled
  • 3 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour spooned and leveled
  • ½ tsp fine sea salt
  • pinch sea salt flakes for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 325F/163C convection and grease and line an 8x8” pan with baking spray and parchment paper.
  • Melt butter and chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute, then stir until smooth.
  • Whisk together sugars, cocoa powder, vanilla, and eggs until smooth.
  • Add melted chocolate mixture and whisk until combined.
  • Add flour and salt, whisk until just combined, then bake for 40-45 minutes.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for 30-60 minutes, then top with sea salt flakes and serve.

Notes

For the best flavor, use high-quality chocolate. Let cool slightly before cutting for clean slices.
