Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 95 g plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 225 g dark chocolate chopped
  • 56 g butter salted or unsalted
  • 2 eggs eggs room temperature
  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 90 g Demerara sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 85 g dark chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F) with fan or 170°C (338°F) for conventional. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Beat sugars and eggs for 5 minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips. Fold into wet mixture.
  • Scoop batter onto tray, bake 12-14 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before transferring.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature eggs and high-quality chocolate.
