Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups unsalted butter, melted
  • 5 large eggs
  • 2.75 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons heavy cream adjust for consistency
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Melt butter and whisk with sugar until smooth. Sift in cocoa powder and vanilla extract, whisking until combined.
  • Add eggs one at a time, whisking thoroughly. Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 26-32 minutes. Let cool slightly.
  • Prepare frosting by melting butter, whisking in cocoa powder, honey, and cream. Gradually add powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Spread frosting over cooled brownies and let set before cutting into squares.
