Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup 113g unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ cups 250g white chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup 50g granulated sugar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups 180g all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp 15g matcha powder
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup 70g chopped almonds (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare an 8-inch square baking pan.
  • Melt butter and white chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave, then let cool.
  • Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until frothy. Gradually mix in the cooled butter and chocolate.
  • Sift together flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt, then fold into the wet mixture.
  • Pour batter into the pan, smooth the top, and add optional toppings.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, let cool completely, and slice into squares.
