  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup butter, softened (1 stick)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces German sweet chocolate (chopped in pieces)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spread the flour over a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  • Beat the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter in a large mixing bowl until well combined. Add the vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  • Add the flour and cocoa powder, mixing until it forms a soft ball. Fold in the mini chocolate chips with a rubber spatula.
  • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in the fridge for about 20 minutes.
  • Melt the German chocolate using a double boiler or microwave. Dip each brownie bite in the melted chocolate, then let set before serving.

Notes

For a firmer coating, chill the dipped brownie bites in the fridge for 5-10 minutes before serving.
