Peach Crumble Pie

A delicious and warm peach crumble pie with a flaky crust and a sweet, crunchy topping.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pie crust pie crust
  • 4 cups sliced peaches
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 Tablespoons tapioca
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter cold
  • teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and tapioca. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.
  • Pour the peach mixture into the pie crust. Spread evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Add the cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  • Spread the crumble mixture evenly over the peach filling. Sprinkle with salt.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.

Notes

Let the pie cool for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
