Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Trim the tough ends of the asparagus. Slice the carrots into thin pieces to ensure they cook evenly with the asparagus.
Toss the asparagus and carrots with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Spread the vegetables evenly on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
