Ingredients
  

puff pastry

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 2 cups spinach fresh
  • ½ cup feta cheese crumbly
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup onion finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook the spinach until wilted.
  • Add seasonings (garlic, onion, nutmeg, salt, pepper) to the spinach.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  • Spread the spinach and feta mixture evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
  • Shaping the Twists: Fold the pastry in half lengthwise, then twist into desired shapes.
  • Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

Notes

Best served warm. You can prepare the filling ahead of time and assemble just before baking.
