Ingredients
  

Meat & Seasoning

  • 1 lb ground beef preferably lean
  • 1 oz taco seasoning premium brand
  • 10 oz diced tomatoes and green chiles undrained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese preferably aged for richer flavor
  • 8 oz Ranch dressing premium
  • 5 packs frozen phyllo tart shells 15-count

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350ºF.
  • Cook Beef: Brown the ground beef until fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
  • Add Seasoning: Stir in taco seasoning, then add diced tomatoes and green chiles. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Prepare Mixture: Mix shredded cheddar cheese and Ranch dressing, then combine with taco meat.
  • Assemble Tarts: Spoon the mixture into phyllo tart shells. Freeze if desired.
  • Bake: Bake filled tarts at 350ºF for 8-10 minutes, adding 2-3 minutes if frozen.

Notes

For an extra crispy texture, bake the phyllo tart shells for 2-3 minutes before filling and baking.
