for frying (vegetable or canola oil works best)
Instructions
Cut the mozzarella cheese into sticks about 3-4 inches long and 1/2 inch wide.
Crush the Takis chips finely using a rolling pin or heavy pan.
Set up three bowls: flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and crushed Takis mixed with spices in the third.
Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, then egg, then Takis mixture. Repeat egg and Takis coating for extra crispiness.
Place coated sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 1 hour.
Fry frozen sticks in hot oil at 350°F for 1-2 minutes until golden. Drain on paper towels.
Notes
For extra crispiness, freeze the coated mozzarella sticks before frying.
